The brief
Gasonic was appointed to replace an existing hot water boiler in the plant room at Kent Police’s Thames Way premises. The work needed to account for a live operational environment and limit disruption to the building.
Our approach
Our team removed the existing non-condensing hot water boiler, redundant flue components and associated pipework. A new Lochinvar Ecocharger was installed, with the pipework and flue arrangements reconfigured to suit the replacement appliance.
Careful coordination was central to the installation. We planned the work around building operations and coordinated the final commissioning and handover.
What we delivered
- Removal of the existing hot water boiler
- Installation of the replacement commercial appliance
- Associated pipework and flue alterations
- Manufacturer commissioning
- Handover to the resident facilities team
The result
A replacement condensing hot water system, with the facilities team taken through operation, controls and ongoing maintenance requirements.
